About this downloadable program:

For light traveling through the sun's gravitational field, this light path calculator determines the slowing and bending of the light, which is specified by the quantum medium view's rg, cag, and dxca equations. You can enter a photon's initial direction of travel relative to the x axis, (dotto), and the sun's location on the y axis, (sy), and the program will determine the slowing and bending of the light during the light's travel to Earth.

You can compare these calculated outputs with actual results from experiments conducted over the years. And you can experiment with the program to see how the sun affects light travelling near it.
